Step One:

Consultation

Let's schedule a time to meet at my studio or your home. I'll show you full newborn and family galleries, along with albums and wall portraits. I want to get to know all about your story as a family and your vision for your portraits. If you're not from the San Francisco Bay Area, we can set up a Skype or Facetime call.

Step Two:

Reserve Your Date

Reserving your date is easy! I will send you my online portal to review your customized package and a signed contract and payment to reserve the session! Payment plans are available upon request.

Step Three:

What to Wear

Coordinating your outfits can be a daunting task, but it doesn’t have to be! Here are my favorite tips:

START WITH MOM FIRST. I like to say that moms should be the prettiest flower in the vase -- everyone else's outfits should complement hers. Complementing clothes just means that every member in the family should wear clothes that are all from the same color palate. For example, everyone in soft colors (gray, light blue, creams, etc), or warm colors (orange, burgandy, browns, etc). Once you've got your outfit together, keep it simple by not having an additional wardrobe change. Simply by taking a jacket layer or a sweater off, you've got a whole new look without the fuss. Absolutely dress for the weather. If your session is an outdoor session in the fall or winter, plan to dress warm (jackets, hats, scarves, blankets). Dress in layers that can easily be taken off if you get too hot.

Step Four:

The Session Day

I'll arrive early to the location to preplan the best spots for photos so that the session runs smoothly. Don't plan anything else on this day (no soccer tournaments, basketball practice, birthday party to attend) because well-rested kids who are ready for fun. Bring snacks and drinks in case they need a pick-me-up.

Your wedding will be one of the happiest and most beautiful days of your life. I'll be with you every step of the way. To preplanning the best locations for photos so on the wedding day it runs smoothly, to helping tie the groomsmen bowties or pinning boutonnieres, making sure your train is adjusted just right and making sure everyone is having a great time. You can rest assured you are in the best hands and enjoy every moment.
